I feel silly saying this, but I paid the bills this morning. LOL Kevin and I have been talking about me taking over the finances for years. With him working, going to school, spending time with us, and wanting to start running again, there's just so much on his plate. At least this should help him some.
So, the other night, we went over things. He showed me all the sites to go to and bookmarked them, how to pay the things that need paid thru Wells Fargo, how he uses the budget he created years ago, and the new program/site he's been using (Mint). We were going to go over things again last night, but we ran out of time. And this morning, I did it all. It's going to take some time to get used to doing it and checking things every day, but I know I can do it. It's different now. Before when I took care of things, we still wrote checks. Now I only write 1 or 2. LOL
Pretty soon, I can check that off of my 101 list.

101 in 1001
Wow! I really suck at this. I went over my list a little bit ago and not much has been done. There are a few things that won't get done, too. Anyway, I'm going to try to do more of the things on my list. I do want to write more, just don't have the interest in doing it most days. A lot of the time, I sit down to write, but just don't know what do write. I'll try to write more...but for now, I need to finish checking Kevin's paper.

Emotional night
So last night I was rather emotional. Part of it was PMSing, I'm sure. I was just so frustrated. I had spent most of my day working on this stupid skirt from this tutorial. So, I basically wasted my day and 2 yards of fabric. The one I made for Lilith came out cute. I have a thought and might mess with it later today. Kevin said that the problem wasn't anything I did or didn't do, it was whoever created the tutorial. It's just a bad one. Lilith was not listening at all yesterday (or lately for that fact). And during nap time, she managed to tip her dresser over. Only 1 little thing broke, but it can be fixed. It was partly my fault for not strapping it to the wall. So, for "punishment," her bed got turned so the open side is against the wall. She was not happy about it last night and kept asking me to move it. I also moved her breakables out to the living room. I want to get a shelf for her room just for her breakables. And then, to make everything worse, the one pair of shorts that fit (and they were big), ripped and now has a huge hole in the butt. They're the pair I bought at the beginning of the summer when I was pregnant with Lilith. All my other pairs of shorts are small (except for the ones Heidi gave me which are too big). I have patterns for shorts, I just need to get some fabric and whatnot...or just go buy some.
Tamara really is a great friend...she left chocolate on my door last night. :)

My Wishlist
So, every now and then, I think of something I want. And when asked what I want, I can't ever think of something. Probably because everything I want is more then people would like to spend. So, here's a list of some things I've been wanting lately.
~ a new toaster (gotten)
~ my Kitchen Aid mixer
~ new dishes (gotten)
~ storage for my sewing things
~ a bulletin board for above my sewing storage area
~ a new iron
~ pattern paper
~ a hip curve and french curve rulers
~ new tennis shoes for our trip (gotten)
~ new contacts (gotten)
~ some shorts (gotten)
~ a tankini
~ my surger fixed
~ a picture frame for Lilith's "L" pictures
~ "L" pictures and some others printed
~ A family portrait
~ professional pictures of Lilith
~ a new purse and wallet (gotten a new purse)
~ a house with lots of room, rose bushes, Japanese maples, and cherry blossoms
If I think of more, I'll add to my list. :)

Babies, babies, everywhere!
It's like everyone around us are either pregnant, currently in labor, or have recently had a baby. And it's not helping my feelings. I would love to be pregnant and have a tiny baby again. But I think we're making the right choice with not having anymore. The cons outweigh the pros. (If you really want to see a list, I'll post one.) I'll have neices and nephews one day to hold and spoil. Some days, it's just hard. My baby grew up so fast! Kevin isn't helping. Yesterday, Lilith turned 2 years and 3 months. So what does Kevin say? "You'll be 3 in just 9 more months!"

201 Days
I just checked and we have roughly 201 days until we go to Disney World (leaving 11/8). I'm excited. We need to start actually planning soon and making reservations for dinner and an appointment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for Miss. Lilith. She won't quite be 3, yet, but I think she'll have fun. And I'm planning on getting the biggest package which includes hair, make up, a prencess dress, accessories, and a photo shoot. Kevin and I are planning on leaving Lilith with my mom and dad or Shawn and going out for one evening for dinner and playing around at the Magic Kingdom to celebrate our anniversary. We'd like to have dinner at Victoria & Albert's at the Chef's Table, too. It'll be so much fun...at least I hope. Not really looking forward to the flight(s), though.
Lilith's potty training is driving me crazy. She was doing so well (like 3 accidents in a full week), then all of a sudden it went to crap. She hasn't gotten back to having good days, yet. I have no idea what happened. I pulled out the potty treats again today. I just hope she gets it figured out by our trip. I'm going to have to buy diapers for the trip (I doubt she will be night time trained by then) because I don't want to deal with cloth diapers while we're there.
I wish she'd get her sleeping figured out, too. Naptimes are a pain because she just plays. I had to turn her bed so that the open side was against the wall and she couldn't get out the other day. And today, no nap. Plus, she's been waking up earlier in the mornings...today was about 7. At least I'm slowly getting used to it. Maybe I'll get more things done during the day once I do get used to it. We even went and got curtains for her room last night...didn't help since she got up even earlier.
Ok, I really should go and get things cleaned up and dinner going. I'll write again later. (Please note, I will be trying to write just about every day...not going to make any promises, though.)

Working on myself
So, this past week, I've -in a way- started to work on myself. It partly started with a look back at my 101 in 1001 list. There are so many things I have yet to do (and I know things won't be done for awhile), but I was surprised at the things that I have done from my list.
For almost a whole week, I have worn my hair down. I've found something that actually works with my hair and I like how my hair looks right now. And it's really soft. Kevin's actually been playing with it, too. :) I have thought about cutting it again lately, but I doubt I will until maybe closer to summer.
I'm trying to take a multi vitamin everyday. I had to stop the one I was taking because it was making me feel sick. It's just the taking it every day that is hard. I'm working on it, though. Every morning, Lilith gets her's and I grab mine.
I've also started to floss everyday...again. It's so hard for me. I just don't like doing it. I don't know why.
Kevin's been wanting to go for walks every night after dinner. That lasted about a week thanks to the cold and rain and Kevin's classes on Wednesday night...and my sciatica bothering me. Maybe once it starts getting a bit warmer and not so rainy we'll try it again. So, last night, we pulled out our Wii Fit again. I forgot how much fun it can be. And I got a pretty nice workout. I did about 40 minutes. I think we're going to try to do it every night again. It's fun doing it together. And I'd like to use my Pilate's DVD, too. Just haven't.
I've been sewing a lot, too. And I'm very happy with how things are turning out. I have something for myself that's cut, just needs to be sewn together. I hope it turns out nice. I can use a long sleeved sweater that actually fits. I'm always looking for something like that to wear over my tops to keep me warm at home, mom's, shopping, etc. Everyone tells me I should put stuff on Etsy.com or have a booth at the Farmer's Market. And I've really thought about the Farmer's Market since we're going to be having one right by us starting in May. But, I just don't have the money or time to do everything for it. I do have an account set up on Etsy, just haven't posted anything on it. I don't know what's keeping me from doing it besides the fact that I don't have a lot to post on it. A lot of things I make are custom. I did post some of my business cards up on the bulletin board in the office. Who knows.
I'm also going to try and write in my blog every day. It may not always be this one, but at least I write something, right? I have another that's for family things (http://kevinanddawnkelley.blogspot.com) because I don't really want everyone in our family to see this one.
I've thought about and discussed going back to school. Kevin and mom both said not to...just worry about Lilith. Once she's in school, take a class or 2 of things I enjoy or want to take.
I've applied to another group on meetup.com, but haven't heard anything, yet. I'm not too sure about MOM'S Club. And our area is going to start some kind of playgroups. So, that will be nice to meet some new people.
I'm trying...it's not always easy for me, but I'm trying.

My 101 in 1001 list--updated
The Mission: Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1,001 days.
The Criteria: Tasks must be specific (i.e. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (i.e. represent some amount of effort on your part).
Why 1,001 Days? Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as New Year's resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1,001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organizing and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.
